Firozpur

Faridkot

Faridkot is famous for cotton markets in South-East Asia. Famous places include qila mubarak, raj mahal, darbar ganj, gurdwara tilla (chilla) baba farid, gurdwara godari sahib and gurdwara guru ki dhab. We produce machine tools, sewing machines and bicycles.

Patiala

Patiala is famous for qila mubarak, moti bagh palace, sheesh mahal, baradari gardens and bahadurgarh fort. Navjot Sidhu, Mohinder Amarnath, Reetinder Sodhi the famous cricketers are from this place. turban, paranda, peg and "patialashahi"salwaar are the famous things available.

Jalandhar

It is situated between Beas and Sutlej. The place is famous for producing foot-ball,cricket bats, hockey and cricket balls, hockey sticks, tennis badminton and squash rackets, balls, soft leather goods and shuttle cocks.

Amritsar

Economy of Amritsar includes woolens, hand made carpets and blankets, embroidered stuff, kites, fireworks, and bangles. Amritsar is also famous for its chess making industry. The famous and beautiful golden temple is located in this place.

Barnala

Barnala is well known for textiles as world famous Trident Company is situated here which is recognised for producing towels.

Bathinda

The place is very famous for big grains, cotton and grapes markets. Famous tourist spots include damdama sahib, bahia ford, maiser khana mandir, quila mabarak, rose garden, chetak park and zoological garden attracts. Many industries have been setup in the place, which includes National Fertilizers Ltd., Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant, Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant, Petrochemical Plants, Yarn & Textiles Plants, Citrus Fruit Belts and Sugar Mills.

Fatehgarh Sahib

The place is very famous for communal harmony with numerous tombs and mausoleums. Economy of the city lies in manufacturing sewing machine parts, centrifugal pumps, bus/truck body building and mining machinery.

Gurdaspur

Gurdaspur offers machine tools and woolen products. It has a swampy lakes, and is famous for snipe-shooting. Famous places to visit are Pathankot, Gurdwara Achal Sahib, Dera Baba Nanak, Kalanaur, Akbari Masjid, Sri Hargobindpur and Qadian.

Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran is famous as a center of the Sikh insurgency. Moga is famous for the milk industries. The district deals with nimal health, cattle breeding, fodder production and irrigation. The famous Nestle industry is located in the district.

Mansa

Economy of the district lies in the production of cotton. It is called as Area of white Gold.

Ludhiana

Meena Bazar is famous shopping spot in Ludhiana. Famous tourist spots include Hardys World, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Musueum, Gurudwara Charankanwal Sahib Machhiwara and Rural Museum.

Kapurthala

Kapurthala offers textile mills, sugar factories and coach factories. The major crops are wheat, rice, sugarcane, potato and maize.

Hoshiarpur

Archaeology Museum, Sadhu Ashram and Dholbaha are the famous tourist spots. The place is famous for Pandavas in Mahabharata.
