Alappuzha or Alleppey

Bekal Fort, which is preserved as the historic fort of kerala. Backwater, bekal hole aqua park, kappil beach and the kodi cliffs makes the place bekal more attractive.

Idukki

Tourist spots include idukki arch dam, wildlife sanctuaries, spice plantation tours and elephant rides.

Kannur

Places of interest includes fort st angelo, sundareswara temple, mavilakavu temple, shri muthappan temple, the old juma masjid and john's church. The place is otherwise called as the 'Garden of India'.

Kasargod

The place is called as the land of gods and houses. Theyyam, Kumbla (buffalo race), Yakshagana, Poorakkali and Kolkali are the chief attractions of the place.

Kollam

Processing of cashew nuts are done in this place. Magnificent backwaters of kerala is found here. Tourist spots include thangasseri, thirumullavaram beach and mayyand.

Kottayam

Serene backwaters, sprawling paddy fields and rubber plantations are found in the place. vaikom temple and thrikkodithanam temple are found in the place.

Kovalam

Places of interest includes kovalam are-hawa beach, ashoka beach, sri dharmasastha temple, chowara appappa temple and analothbhava math church. Many copious coconut trees and serene and pristine beaches are found in the place.

Kozikode

It was previously known as calicut. Major attractions include kappad beach , dolphin's point, pazhassirajah museum, art gallery, krishna menon museum, mananchira and kallai.

Kumarakom

The places of interests are aruvikkuzhi waterfalls,pathiramanal,kottayam,vaikom temple,aranmula,erumely and vagamon. The place is very famous for Karimeen (Pearl spot), shrimp (chemmeen in the local language) and prawns.

Malampuzha

Tourist spots include snake park, a children’s park, a garden house, hanging bridge, Sculpture of Yakshi , telescopic tower, rock garden and fantasy park.

Munnar

Places of interest includes munnar are pothamedu, mattupetty lake and dam, devikulam, pallivasal, attukal, nyayamakad, rajamala and chithirapuram. The place has gushing three mountain streams such as mudrapuzha, kundala and nallathanni.

Palakkad

It is also known as Palghat is the land of Paddy fields and Palm trees. Places of interest includes Palakkad Fort and Palakkad Jain Temple, Tippu?s Fort, Malampuzha - Garden, Mayilladumpara-Cholanoor Peacock Sanctury and Seetharkundu water falls near Nelliyampathy.

Periyar (Thekkady)

Leopard, wild dog, nilgiri langur, barking deer and mouse deer, bonnet macaque, porcupines, nilgiri tahrs (a kind of a wild goat), squirrels, wild boar and sloth bear are found in the place.

Thiruvananthapuram

The place is also traditionally known as the trivandrum. Attukal Pongala, vetta and arattu, nishagandhi dance festival and the great elephant race are celebrated in the place. The place is very famous for kovalam beach, padmanabha swamy temple.
