- The main cash crop is tobacco, and tobacco processing is an important industry. The other crops with considerable area are bananas, rice, bajra, and cotton to some extent.

Banaskantha

- Banaskantha is rich in Marble quarries and Copper deposits. In Palanpur the largest diamond industry were located.

Bharuch

- Agriculture and other linked commercial activities have flourished in Bharuch. There are large chemical plants producing fertilizers, paints, dyes, cotton, textiles, and dairy products. arge multinational centers like Videocon, China light & power, BASF, Johnson, Reliance, Tata`s, Aditya Birla group, Welspun Stahl, J B Chemicals, Gujarat Fluorochmicals Ltd. Bhavnagar

- The Economy is a balanced one in which both the agricultural and the industrial sector contribute equally to its growth. Diamond and cotton are the most significant resources of revenue. The main agricultural produce of Bhavnagar consists of cotton, onion, bajra and groundnut.

-Agro based industries have come up in Dahod. There are many Dal Mills,Atta mills and Makka Poha mfg units. The main economic activities of Dahod is based on agricultural products.

Junagadh

- Agriculture is the backbone of the district economy. Junagadh district includes, Mineral based industries such as, cement & soda ash, Agriculture based industries like edible oil, groundnut units, solvent plants and oil cakes and Marine based industries like fish processing units and frozen fish.

Kutch

- is Mineral rich region with very large reserve of Lignite, Gypsum and lot of other mineral. Kachchh has a strong tradition of crafts.

Kheda district is also known by the name golden leaf since it is the major producer of tobacco in the State. Main fruits cultivated in the district include Aonla,Citrus, Banana and Papaya. Major Spices grown in the district include cumin seeds, fennel seeds, chilly, ginger and turmeric.
